Error “Install-WindowsComponent –ShortNameForRole “AdminTools” ADToolsNeeded $RoleADToolsNeeded”

I am installing Exchange 2010 SP2 admin tools on Windows 7 x64 bit and got alerts mentioned. As I have installed 100+ Exchange servers including my LAB and production, there are few best practices and situation where our hand select few option’s  automatically, Atleast for me  🙂

In below screen shot, I have finished installation of all prerequisite and selected check mark “Automatically install Windows Server roles and features required for Exchange”. This is not needed as I am only going to install Admin tools, As a result got below error.

I have removed this check mark in setup and hit next.

Now, Setup got succesfull and ready for install.4
