One day one of my support person ask a question about how to recall message for shared mailbox. It was pretty cool answer but when he go in sent items in outlook and see recall option its dimmed/disabled.
After some research, I see that it’s bug in outlook 2010 and has been fixing by Hot fix give below. So if you have this problem in your environment then download and install hot fix.
I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. I sent an email from our shared inbox. I tried to recall the email. The button is not grayed out, but a message comes up that says, that I cannot recall because I am not the original sender. How can I change this? I need to recall this email!
You can open shared mailbox as a secondry mailbox in your account and recall
Even we are facing the same issue…..user have full and send as permission on that particular mailbox but unable to recall the mail…..we need a permanent solution as it is used by around 200 users
